Data Protection Act
The Data Protection Act controls how your personal information is used by organisations, businesses or the government. Everyone responsible for using data has to follow strict rules called 'data protection principles'. They must make sure the information is: used fairly and lawfully.

Freedom of Information Act
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 is an Act of Parliament of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that creates a public "right of access" to information held by public authorities. It is the implementation of freedom of information legislation in the United Kingdom on a national level.

Copyright Considerations
Copyright is a legal right created by the law of a country that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights for its use and distribution. This is usually only for a limited time. The exclusive rights are not absolute but limited by limitations and exceptions to copyright law, including fair use.


Ethical Issues

Ethical Issues 
Some Ethical issues that come to mind is that come to my mind is that there's some moral issues, like for example, deliberately setting up websites containing incorrect information – people may rely on and use this information thinking it is correct. And another ethical issue, like the use of information, for example, there is no guarantee that any information on the Internet is accurate or true.

Codes of Practice 
A code of practice is a set of professional standards or written guidelines agreed on by members of a particular profession or written guidelines issued by an official body or a professional association to its members to help them comply with its ethical standards.

Other (Breaches)
A personal data breach is a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed in connection with the provision of a public electronic communications service.
